Personal Assistant for Laura

Hours Per Week: 5 hours per week total.

Hourly rate: £12.40 per hour Monday-Sunday


Location: At home in LS9 and in the local community

Are you interested in supporting a young person in the home and with accessing the community?

If so, this is a great opportunity to earn money, enhance your CV and build experience for your career in the public/ health/ care sector. Laura was diagnosed with Dysautonomia, Hypermobility and Depression and she is a chatty and friendly 25 year old, with a good sense of humour. She has a variety of interests, including art, shopping, swimming and yoga, which she would like to do with a PA. This will allow L to build her confidence, social and independence skills out of her home.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable and conscientious with a good sense of humour, they should be happy working on their own and part of a team and willing to go the extra mile. You should be friendly and approachable, sensitive, flexible and fun!

What are the duties?

· Support in accessing the community for fun activities, including active classes· Support in accessing outdoor space for things like nature walks· Support to source and access interest and hobbies· Support with food prep and cooking· Light domestic tasks in the home

Essential Requirements:

· Flexibility towards planned activities· Positive attitude· Patience and tolerance to L’s interests and habits.· Valid UK Driving License and own car

Any relevant experience will be considered if the skills can be applied to this role.
