Personal Care Assistant for a 35yr old lady P/T 9-10hrs @ £10.50/hr in Leeds LS4

  • Female carer required for my daughter, a 35 year old female, with learning disabilities.
  • She is a chatty and bubbly person
  • My daughter loves listening to music, especially ABBA

DUTIES:
  • Work is in a family home setting - friendly, very clean and welcoming - with one cat
  • No moving and handling requirements, Light care. Personal care essential. And good company
  • Duties will be to shower, assist her in brushing her teeth and getting dressed in time for the transport to take her to Kirkstall leisure for the day at 0930
  • Evening shift to prepare her meal, change her bedding to do her laundry and other caring and domestic duties required.
  • Weekend shift to take my daughter out for activities.
  • Carer must encourage healthy eating and exercise.

PAY & HOURS:
  • Will be part time work, there may be some adjustment to hours, as I work out schedule with other PAs
  • Pay is higher on the weekend - £12.50
  • Please be flexible with hours and work

CHECKS & PROBATION:
  • DBS checks will take place for candidates who I've interviewed successfully and two references will be requested.
  • Initially you will be asked to work for two weeks holiday cover, with a view to staying on permanently if everything works out
