PA required for daily care and support for a lovely young lady as part of a larger team, once all recruited.Skills/Competencies :Full DBSFull Driving LicenceHave a Reliable, Trustworthy, Responsible and Caring nature with the ability to remain calm in stressful situationsProvide support for Mobility issues & transfers using appropriate equipment & assist with maintaining personal hygieneAdminister medications as requiredSupport client to medical appointments (if required)Previous experience in care is preferableHoist/slide mat experience preferred but training can be givenCare for 2 small friendly dogs (feed/walk) if client is unwellPA working hours/rota:8.30 - 11.30am Help client from bed/bedroom and help with personal care & dressing /administer medications. Help walk clients dogs. Clean/tidy where required.1.30 - 5.00pm Help client on social outings for shopping etc( as & when planned) or complete other household tasks as required if client unwell/tired and possible shopping tasks/medication collection. Lastly Feed/walk dogs with client.8.15 - 9.15pm Assist client to bed. Giving appropriate medications and ensuring all medical equipment is to hand.

For clients safety : if client presents as unwell, PA would agree to stay overnight or be ‘on call’ if client requires help overnight.The working hours are flexible and there is the option for Overtime (as & when required).PA should/would be trained in manual handling. PA would/should be trained in dealing with/identifying clients complex EDS health issues and seizures.The PA would be providing in house patient-centred care for a lovely, friendly young woman who is positive and independent and appreciative of any/all support given in her care. Her interests are:- her dogs/she loves being outdoors/in the garden/shopping & social outings.
