Personal Assistants required to provide full care to a young woman with severe learning difficulties [including Epilepsy] and complex needs at home and in the community. Client is dependant on others for all of her care needs.


PLEASE NOTE: We require only female applicants only due to intimate personal care. Exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, and Part 1. Section 7(2) e of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975. Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR), Schedule 9 (Work; Exceptions), Part 1 (Occupational Requirements), of the Equality Act (2010) applies.


REQUIREMENTS


⁃ Essential: Previous paid caring experience.


⁃ Good communication and interpersonal skills


⁃ Willingness to learn and support client with her care needs and emotional support


⁃ Proof of Eligibility to work in the UK


⁃ Non-Smoker


⁃ References and DBS checks will be carried out.





HOURS AVAILABLE and PAY


⁃ Monday to Friday 4 pm to 8pm [20 hrs]


⁃ Saturday and Sunday 9 am to 8 pm [22hrs]


⁃ Pension and Annual Leave


⁃ Some cover for other personal annual leave will be required


⁃ £13.00 per hour

- Self employed workers rate - £15.50 per hour.
