We are a family of four looking for good humoured and flexible personal assistants to provide support at home for our 16 year old son. Sometimes the role will involve supporting one parent with our son’s care routine, and at other times it will be to work with another PA whilst parents are out. Our son has significant disabilities which require specialist care. He can talk (he rarely stops) and loves to laugh and joke. It’s like a pantomime all the time! He is a full time wheelchair user, and requires support with all day to day activities. Our son likes to play musical instruments, appropriate boardgames/card games, playstation/ipad games, and loves animals. He would like to mostly play at home talking about his favourite musicians, but there may be occasions to visit local farms/owl sanctuaries or swimming at the local pool. Transport would be via public transport or one parent would drive for trips with support from one PA. There may be occasional opportunities to accompany the family on holiday in future.Main Duties
