To provide 24 hour support over 7 days a week to enable a young woman to remain living independently within her own home and local community.

The purpose of this role is to provide support to a young woman in her own home. To support her with continued access to the local community with various activities and volunteering aspects, and to explore new opportunities and leisure pursuits.

The post holder will be required to support various shift patterns, to include sleeping nights and weekends.

Posts required:
· Female staff only need apply.
· Part-time flexible hours required to cover both days and nights.
· Car driver is essential and must be insured for business use.

Successful applicant must:
Have experience and an understanding of supporting people with a learning disabilities Be able to demonstrate a patient nature and understand the need for positive communication. Be flexible and have a happy and caring nature. Respect Confidentiality at all times. Have an interest in arts, music and concerts, theatre, eating out and enjoy exploring the local community.

Hours:
Part-time hours available, you will be required to work flexibly on a rota basis.

Wage: £13.09 per hour

An enhanced DBS will be required for this post, cost will be met by Northumberland County Council.
