A full time position has become available for a personal assistant to join my team just outside Morpeth. In a friendly family orientated setting.

I am an adventurous character enjoying many activities including speedboating, theatre, disco, going for walks, festivals and much more.

I require 24hr support 2:1 care and I am confined to a wheelchair.

The position requires a caring, considerate & reliable but bubbly personality as I love laughter and humour.

You will be cooking nutritious meals, providing medical and personal care, and embracing an active social life, accompanying me on days/nights out supporting my independence in my own home.

Your own car is essential as transport links to my property are not great but also to drive my accessible vehicle.

Medical or nursing background would be of benefit but not essential as training will be given.

Non smoker

Driver with clean licence

Working 2 weekly shift pattern alternative weekends.

Hours: 42 hours per week – working as part of a staff team on a rota basis

Rate of pay;- £16.41ph

Overnight sleep rate;-£11.44ph

Overnight rate applies 10pm to 5am

Further Information: An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate (DBS) will have to be obtained for the successful candidate (at employer’s expense).

Training: Where it is required, such as in Health and Safety matters, practical training and guidance will be arranged and the care worker will be expected to attend.
