I am looking to recruit a Female Personal Care Assistant to support me. I have complex health needs. I live in my own home in Burnley, Lancashire.
The role is to provide clinical and personal care, support with hobbies and interests, health monitoring with relevant responses, maintain personal safety, and administer medications. The training required in the clinical interventions to do the job will be provided. NB this list is not exhaustive.

You will work independently as a member of an experienced and competent team. You will receive full support during induction from me and my team, during which you will receive full training in all aspects of clinical and other duties.

You will work in my home, where everyone works well together. Support is primarily provided within my home, which is adapted.

The Right Person
You don't have to have experience in care and support. Still, essential attributes include empathy, enthusiasm, a calm approach, willingness to learn and adapt, ability to use your initiative, reliability, and flexibility in a changing situation. Respect for my space and privacy is essential.

You must have a full UK driving license and be able to drive my WAV vehicle.
The Hours
The hours are 8am to 8pm 24 hours per week on a rota basis at £14.45per hour.

You will receive 5.6 weeks of paid leave.

The successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check and clearance paid for by the employer.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to cover extra shifts across 7 days to support as needed to cover sickness and holidays.
