Job Purpose:
I am a 6-year-old girl who is looking for two Personal Assistants that would help me with improving my life skills and take me out into the community. I have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder and social communication concerns as well as repetitive behaviours. I therefore need someone who is kind and empathetic and will help me to overcome the difficulties with communication and support me in social skills development. I like outdoor play, walks in the park, dancing and music, small world figures.Location: Norwich, NR3Details:Support with accessing the community and activities.Ensuring safety when out and about.Support with independence and making choices.Providing encouragement and practical assistance when out and about.Person specificationEssential:Friendly and supportive.Patient with good communication skills.Caring.Active.Car owner with the appropriate business insurance.Female due to the personal care element.Desirable:Summary terms and conditions:· The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour.· Hours and times of work: 15 hours support every 4 weeks, job share, exact timings to be confirmed ahead of time, would be mostly weekends.· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.· You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.Post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.· This position requires the employee to complete free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, First Aid, Risk Assessment, Autism.
