Job Purpose
To help access the community for socialization, including Fishing.

Location: PE30, Kings Lynn

Main Duties:

  • To take me out to Fishing
  • To take me out to Social Activities to meet with friends or take family. Such as for coffee, to a pub or a meal.
  • Appointments at the Doctor or Hospital
  • Personal meetings and wait until finished or return
  • To assist with Personal Care when required

These duties may vary from day to day.
Any other reasonable duties that may be necessary.

Person Specification

Essential
  • Male
  • Vehicle with Business Insurance must be able to transport a wheelchair (fold-up type, battery-powered, 35kg). Must have a mid-range SUV as unable to access smaller vehicles.

Preferred
  • Shared interests such as Fishing and Engineering

Summary Terms and Conditions
  • You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses as part of this role.
  • The rate of pay for this position is £14 per hours
  • Hours to be 10 hours a week, to be negotiated with Employer
  • A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
  • Satisfactory passing of mandatory training care courses.
  • Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
  • Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 6 months.
