Job Purpose:I am a young person with a diagnosis of Autism and ADHD and am looking for a PA to support me to increase my independence both inside and outside of the home. This will include support around learning independent living skills like budgeting and becoming more confident with money, using public transport, learning how to do a food shop, following recipes, and cooking some nutritional meals. I will also need support around creating healthy friendships and relationships. In the future I would like to explore some volunteering opportunities so may need your support when attending the placement as well. I am relatively introverted and really enjoy gaming.Location: Kings Lynn, PE30Details:Support with independence at home and in the community.Support with learning living skills: budgeting, nutrition, and social skills.Person specificationEssential:Caring and compassionate.Fun loving.Emphatic.Professional.Calm.Desirable:Understanding of transgender issues.Car owner with clean driving licence and the appropriate business insurance.Interest in gaming.Summary terms and conditions:· The rate of pay for this position is £13 per hour.· Hours and times of work: 15 hours per week split as 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. Exact times advised in advance.· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.Post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.· This position requires the employee to complete free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, First Aid, Risk Assessment, Autism and Food Hygiene.
