Personal assistant required in the Stokesley area for 7 hours per week – flexible (more hours can be discussed) and arranged in advance, to support with:
· Social support,
· Organisation,
· Meal preparation such as batch cooking and meal planning, shopping.
· Some support with heavy household chores such as hoovering / ironing and Laundry.
A busy mum of 6 children, 5 at home aged between 3 and 12 years old. Suitable applicants will need to be aware of how busy family life can be and the challenges presented by dividing time between self-care and being a mum.
Applicants should have good organisational skills and must be willing to be flexible when required.
Need for support arises from Adult onset stills disease. This condition is a rare type of inflammatory arthritis that features fevers, rash and joint pain. It has a huge impact on daily life due to the immense pain and discomfort it causes during flare ups.
No specific training or knowledge is required – only a willingness to be flexible and work with the family to ensure the best outcomes for everyone. It is important normal family life is maintained.
Rate of pay £18.30 per hour. 7 hours per week (discussed) spread over 3 days possibly more often if physical health is reduced due to flare up of long-term condition.
Paid annual leave entitlement of equivalent of 5.6 weeks per year (pro rata)
DBS is required for this role and this will be arranged by employer.
