I am looking for a reliable and compassionate Personal Assistant to support me a 37-year-old male in day-to-day life, including personal and domestic care, as well as helping me access local community. The ideal candidate will be non-judgmental, trustworthy, hygienic, and physically capable. They must have experience in personal care and hold a clean driving license.



Location: PE 32



Job Description:

Assisting with personal care

Assisting with medication

Assist with general housekeeping/domestic tasks.

Helping with meal preparation and kitchen tasks

Supporting the client with community access

Any other reasonable duties as requested.





Person specification



Essential:

Enhanced DBS required prior to starting

Experience in personal care is essential.

A valid current driving license and ability to drive a Motability Van

The ideal candidate would require calming, reassuring, caring and patience.

The person I employ, must have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work, including total respect for my privacy.





Desirable:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the individual's needs.





Summary terms and conditions

The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour.

Hours and times of work: 15 hours per week. Time discussed further at interview.

The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.

Free Care Skills training is provided to employed staff.







The post is subject to the following:

A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.

Satisfactory references from two referees, one of whom must be your current or last employer.

Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months
