Job description: Social care work opportunity for a Personal Assistant.

Job purpose: A Vacancy has become available for a female personal assistant to support for 15hrs a week on a Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

You will be responsible for assisting with personal care, maintaining a clean and tidy home, provide support with hobbies and interests such as; gardening, shopping, cooking, and pet care. You will also be required to drive an adapted car for outings, errands, and social events, whilst completing tasks the employer cannot do themselves.

The employer is a friendly and considerate person who enjoys both indoor and outdoor activities. They have a variety of hobbies and interests, including a passion for animals, nature, and the theatre.

Location: Carbrooke, IP25

Essential:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Use of own transport due to location not being accessible via public transport.
- Must be able to drive a manual car and be a confident driver.
- Willing to drive the employers adapted car
- Flexible to adapt to varying activity levels
- Able to use own initiative
- Reliable
- Trustworthy

Desirable:
- Experience not essential, training can be provided

Summary Terms and Conditions
The rate of pay for this position is £11.68p/h.
Hours and times of work as follows: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Hours to be discussed at interview stage.
A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 6 months.
The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.

You will be required undertake annual training.

The post is subject to the following:
· - A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
· - Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
