Job Purpose:
I am looking for another PA to join the team, flexible work hours for covering absences.

I need support to access all community based activities, to visit different settings like cinema or bowling, going to shops, visiting garden centres. Also support with exercise like swimming. You would also be helping me to visit my friends, maintain my existing friendships and helping to build new ones. I need someone who can assist me with my art projects so I can do as much of the art myself. I would prefer a lady carer, to keep an eye on my safety when we are out an about, someone with an understanding of epilepsy. I have a mild learning disability, anxiety and mobility issues. I am a wheelchair user

Helping with art projects whilst maintaining independence

Essential:

Rate of pay for this position is £15.00 per hour
You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as a part of the role
This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, Anxiety and Moving and Handling.

Hours and times of work:
10 hours per week split between Tuesday and Thursday, 5 hours each day to start no earlier than 10:00 but exact timing will be discussed ahead of time

Post is subject to the following:
A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer
Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of months
