Personal Care Asst for a teenage boy @ £12.40/hr in WF3 - Alternate Saturdays or Sundays

I am looking for a reliable and trustworthy person to help take care of my 13 year old son every other Saturday. 12 until 6 but to make sure they are available until 8pm if needed.


Hours & pay

  • Mainly Saturdays
  • Flexible as can be Sundays too
  • It will be worked between us so as to allow a good work life balance.
  • Shift pattern:
  • 1200 - 1800 Alternate Saturdays or Sunday.

Main duties

  • Main duties include to assist with toilet training and nappy changing
  • Help dressing or undressing
  • Supervising at all times
  • Encourage outdoor play as much as possible
  • Encouraging access to local parks and into the community using his wheelchair for any outings.
  • Making snacks for my son and some domestic duties to help out if needed
  • Applicants who are drivers with their own car preferred due to not many bus routes in the Lofthouse area of Wakefield

Good to know

  • This is a permanent role
  • Please note we have 2 dogs who will also be in the house so people with pet allergies will not be able to apply sorry.
  • References will be requested
