Job Purpose:I am a mum of 5 with mobility issues, pain and weakness due to Fibromyalgia and Sciatica. My health condition means that I walk with a crutch, can only manage the lightest of tasks and sometimes fall because of the weakness. I am looking for a female Personal Assistant to help me with shopping, meal preparation as well as cleaning. I live in a Halal household so awareness of this would be an advantage.Location: Norwich, NR5Details:· Cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, cleaning the kitchen and bathroom.· General tidying and putting things away.· Grocery shopping. There is a supermarket a short walking distance from the home.· Filling and emptying the dishwasher.· Laundry, ironing and changing beds.· Cooking, ideally with some knowledge of Asian cooking and/or the ability to follow a recipe and/or instructions.· Support visiting new places.· Support with attending appointments. Person specificationEssential:· Female carer only.· Ability to adapt and think out of the box.· A car owner with the appropriate business insurance.· Respectful, professional, trustworthy and non-judgmental.· Kind and friendly, chatty and caring.Desirable:Family oriented, used to working in a busy household.Summary terms and conditions:· The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour.· Hours and times of work: 10 hours per week, days and times advised in advance.· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.· This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, COSHH, Manual Handling of Objects, Moving and Handling. Post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
