Job Description: Social care work opportunity for a Personal Assistant. Listed below are details of the job and what tasks are involved. It is advisable to refer to these when submitting your application and advise of the days/hours you are available.

Job Purpose: I am a friendly lady and require a Personal Assistant to support me with general household tasks and accessing the community. I enjoy socialising, gardening, arts and crafts and spending time with my grandchildren. Due to health conditions, I require some support with balance and mobility.Location: Norwich, NR2Details:· Household tasks including cleaning and laundry.· Trips into the community including the coffee shop and shopping.· Supporting me to attend community activities and groups.Personal Specification: Listed below are the skills, competencies and qualities that are essential and desirable for the post. Assessment of these, both on application and at the interview, will be the main factor in determining your success.Essential:· Good communication skills.· Friendly and caring.· Reliable and organised.Desirable:· Experience in a similar position.· Good knowledge of public transport system in Norwich due to central location.Summary Terms and Conditions- The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour- Hours and times of work as follows: 12 hours per week, ideally worked over 3 days, 4 hours per day 10am – 2pm although days and times can be discussed at interview.- The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.- Access to free Care Skills training for employer workers.- If this job requires; Manual Handling, Handling of hazardous chemicals and/or Food Handling you will be required undertake annual training.- You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.The post is subject to the following:- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.- Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.- Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 6 months.
