Salford is looking to recruit an experienced, Team Manager to lead our Adult Social Care Workforce Development Team.

You will Manage the Adult Social Care, Workforce Development Team and oversee all aspects of Social Work Development alongside the Social Work Development Lead and Learning and Development Officer including:
• Assessed and Supported Year in Employment
• Social Work Student Placements
• Social Work Apprenticeships
• Practice Education
• Level Three Progression
You will lead on the learning, development and training needs of all adult social care staff and quality assure those processes including:
• Oversight of the mandatory training and appraisal compliance
• Oversight of the training needs analysis for all adult social care staff
• To hold responsibility for the training budget
• To develop methods of sharing information and learning for staff such as, learning lunches and briefings
You will contribute to the Greater Manchester Teaching Partnership and to work with partners in children’s services, the Safeguarding Adults Board, and the senior leadership team to identify and meet the training and development needs of all staff. You will work with the recruitment team and the senior leadership team on the recruitment and retention of adult social care staff and lead and co-ordinate policy development and the adult social care information on the hub website.
