A little about myself:
I am a young boy diagnosed with ASD, GDD and PICA. I am very active and love to spin, jump, run and any type of sensory play. I am always smiling; I know a few words, but I communicate mostly with sounds and object pointing. I would like someone to play with me at home in the garden and when we get to know each other, maybe go out to the park.

Driver required to take me out.

Female preferred.

Hours of work
6 hours per week during school terms.
12 hours per week during school holidays.
Out of school hours but flexible

Rate of pay.
£12.75

Essential:
I need you to:
• Be able to drive and have a car
• Be female
• Be able to carry out personal care

Desirable
I’d prefer if:
• You have previous experience.

I’d like support with
• I will need toileting and personal care support.
• I will need support eating and I have a routine that is working for this.
• I am a flight risk, so you will need to be vigilant at all times.
• I put anything in my mouth (PICA) and will need close monitoring.


I will need my PA to:
Respect and understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
Be confident, mature and have patience.
Be dependable and arrive on time.
Be friendly with an easy-going manner.
Be adaptable and flexible.
Be supportive but not take over.
Have business insurance on your car to take clients out.

Concerning the position
A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
