The part-time position as Independent Living Support Assistant is offered in the Pennard/Southgate area. This post would be an excellent opportunity for those wishing to work in the social care sector.

We wish to engage a person over 18 years of age with good communication skills and a friendly manner to support me in day to day tasks. This can be either an employed or self-employed position. Duties will include assisting with general day to day tasks, also helping with written communication and administration tasks. This role would suit someone who is happy with flexible day time hours.
Car driver / owner required due to location.

Self-employed PA, Registered Micro Enterprise PA or 0 hours contract employment PA is preferred.

Hours of work
19.5 hours per week and flexible times. (not w/e)

Rate of pay: £12.75 p.h.

Concerning the position

If self-employed or a registered Micro Enterprise, you will provide invoices for the time worked and have your own liability Insurance and DBS check.
If formally employed by the Direct Payment Client this requires a National Insurance number to be submitted. In this case, a trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly with appropriate holiday pay calculated. A DBS will need to be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs are met by Swansea council.
