You will be joining a privately owned practice, with offices operating in Newark, Manchester and London that employs around 90 staff. Your new role
In your new role, you will be working as an Architectural Technician within the Industrial sector, where you will be:



  • Drafting and Designing: Create detailed drawings and plans for buildings using CAD software.

  • Technical Support: Assist architects with technical details and specifications.

  • Building Regulations: Ensure designs comply with building codes and regulations.

  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals.

  • Site Visits: Inspect construction sites to monitor progress and ensure adherence to plans.

  • Material Selection: Recommend appropriate materials and construction techniques.

  • Problem Solving: Address technical issues that arise during the design and construction phases.



What you'll need to succeed
Preferred:



  • Experience within the industrial sector.

  • Client facing experience.

  • Strong technical knowledge.

  • All/most RIBA stages experience.

  • AutoCAD and/or Revit expertise.
