Care Assistant (Bank/Flexible). Ribble Court Care Home

£11.61 per hour
Covering various 08:00-20:00 and 20:00-08:00 shifts in the case of staff absence/sickness/annual leave

Please note we cannot guarantee shifts every week, this is ad-hoc work

Here at Ribble Court, we provide high-quality specialist/complex nursing care and residential dementia care on separate floors, with a person-centred focus based on the needs and wishes of the residents maintained at all times.

As a Care Assistant at our home, your role may involve:

Undertaking any necessary training
Supporting our residents with personal care and hygiene, eating, and getting involved with daily activities
Providing emotional support and companionship
Supporting our residents to live an enriched and fulfilled life, focussed on their individual hobbies, preferences and abilities
Maintaining high standards within the care home environment
Working flexibly as part of a team to ensure our residents' needs are met

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’. Advertised pay rates are for shifts worked from 1st April 2023.

Able to demonstrate a genuine interest in working in the health and social care sector- experience is beneficial but certainly not essential!
