Senior Night Care Assistant. St Helens Hall Care Home

£13.68 per hour
3-4 nights per week
8pm-8am shifts

As a Senior Care Assistant at our home, your role may involve:

Undertaking any necessary training
Supporting our residents with personal care and hygiene, eating, and getting involved with daily activities
Providing emotional support and companionship
Supporting our residents to live an enriched and fulfilled life, focussed on their individual hobbies, preferences and abilities
Maintaining high standards within the care home environment
Senior-level duties to support the Home Manager, which may involve: staff supervisions, appraisals, record-keeping, liaising with outside professionals, interviewing etc.

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However, overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.

What are we looking for?

Supervisory/leadership experience in a residential or nursing home setting
A positive outlook and warm personality
Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or willing to work towards
Confident in record-keeping and the use of various technologies
Able to remain calm and guide colleagues under pressure
Flexibility to work shift patterns according to the needs of our residents
