Job Title- Floating support worker (offenders)

Location- Staffordshire (Tamworth and Litchfield)

Salary - £12.14 per hour

Contract type - Permanent

Working hours - Part time - 18.5 hours

About the role



We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Support Worker to provide housing related support to ex-offenders living in the community within our Staffordshire service. The support provided will include;



Finance, benefit and debt Community links including volunteering, training etc. Signposting to specialist agencies such as substance misuse and mental health


The essence of this role is to provide person centred support to our clients to resettle them back into the Community; leading to fulfilled lives, improved life choices, a reduction in offending and safer communities.



- You will work with clients across the Staffordshire county

- You will take responsibility for completing all essential support tasks as a Key Worker whilst maintaining Professional Boundaries and Confidentiality.

- You will be required to work closely with the Probation service and Police Offender managers as part of a multi-agency approach to supporting clients.

About you



We need someone who is confident to work alone on their own initiative although you will also be part of a small team. You will be proficient in using Microsoft Office packages and maintaining accurate written records.

Our clients have a diverse range of support needs therefore it is an essential element of this role that you have experience and relevant knowledge of the needs of ex-offenders and how these needs can be met.



It is essential that you hold a full Driving Licence and access to a car.
