A local Nottingham pharmacy team has a new opportunity now available for a Pharmacy Technician (Accuracy Checking Technician status an advantage but not required).
With amenities, public transport links, parking, and health/social care services close by, each branch is in a great location to ready offer a comprehensive range of NHS and private services – including seasonal vaccinations, emergency medication, Pharmacy First and advisory services – in addition to prescription dispensing, for a healthy and consistent level of activity.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll play a vital role in keeping pharmacy processes running safely and smoothly; preparing and dispensing prescriptions (including completing final accuracy checks if an ACT), ensuring compliance, resolving queries, and supporting team members so that each visitor has a pleasant and straightforward experience.
Because there is a strong focus on offering clinical services alongside prescriptions, there is great potential for you to get involved and develop in this area (complete with incentives scheme) as well as in the managerial side.
You’ll have great support from your Pharmacist and support staff colleagues as well as the Superintendent in both your day-to-day and for your CPD.
