Adult Nurses looking for an exciting challenge and a wealth of opportunities are encouraged to join our current team on NSSU (Neuro Short Stay Unit).

We are a 18 bedded Elective Spinal ward, caring for patients with a range of spinal conditions from across the Greater Manchester Region. Alongside the ward senior nursing team the ward is supported by specialist nurse teams and advanced nurse practitioners.

As a Registered Nurse you will be responsible for supporting our team to ensure that our service users’ needs are met through the delivery of high-quality care.

As a centre of excellence, you will offer a person-centred approach to their independence and wellbeing and go the extra mile to ensure compassionate and personalised patient care.

As a Registered Nurse you will work as part of our NSSU team working to ensure the care given to our patients, from admission to discharge, has been a good experience for them with excellent standards of care given.

You will work collaboratively with all members of the MDT Responsible for the safe custody of medication, including checking and administration. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, Demonstrate a high level of compassion for patients and their relatives

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC Pin within the next 2-3 months.

Please note an NMC PRN Pin is not a full NMC Pin and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.

The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses and Midwives who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receive a full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely.
