Healthcare Assistant
We are looking for an enthusiastic Healthcare assistant to join our team in the Dermatology Unit, which consists of a busy outpatient department, 3 procedure rooms and a day treatment centre.
The successful applicant will have experience in a Health Care environment and must have good verbal and written communications skills, be organised, able to respond to changing priorities, and have the ability to work under pressure.

To contribute to the optimum delivery of care by assisting all clinical staff and to deliver care in a manner sensitive to the individual patients’ needs and wishes, acknowledging and respecting their rights and beliefs at all times.
To establish a rapport with the patient and relatives and an awareness of the individual patient needs, ensuring these are communicated to the Registered nurse.
To have a full understanding of the impact of the patient’s condition on their hygiene, nutritional and mobility abilities and needs. To apply topical treatments under the supervisionof a member of trained staff.
