An exciting opportunity has arisen to join theNeurosciences Management Team. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to providemanagerial and professional leadership, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, patient-centred nursing service that meets the diverse needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, manage, and be accountable for delivering ahigh-quality, patient-centred nursing service.
• Collaborate withAssistant Directors of Nursing, Clinical Directors, and Senior Managersto coordinate and deliver services in alignment withNational and Trust Health Strategies.
• Ensure arobust approach to service development and improvement, ensuring changes to structures, services, and roles are well-supported and aligned with ongoing development.
• Support thestrategic directionof the Neurosciences division alongside theDivisional Director of NursingandExecutive Director of Nursing.
• Provideprofessional nursing advice and leadershipfor the development, implementation, and monitoring ofNursing and Quality Strategiesto deliver exceptional patient care.
• Drive theadvancement and development of nursing services and practices, promoting continuous personal and professional growth in alignment with theLearning and Development team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to influence and shape the future of Neurosciences nursing services, contributing to a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team.

Supports the ADNS to provide professional leadership and management for the development, implementation and monitoring of the Strategy for Nursing & Midwifery.

The post holder is responsible and accountable for the overall clinical and operational day-to day delivery of clinical standards of care and the management of the nursing workforce, in accordance with set objectives, targets, quality standards, controls and resource constraints, that ensures the delivery of a high quality, patient centred service that meets patient need.

· Contributes to the development, delivery and evaluation of Trust and Group strategy within the context of the NHS Modernisation agenda.

· Ensure a robust professional approach to service development and improvement.

Ensures that any subsequent changes to structures, services and roles are underpinned by appropriate support and on-going professional development.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC Pin within the next 2-3 months.

Please note an NMC PRN Pin is not a full NMC Pin and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.

The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses and Midwives who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receive a full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely.
