Overview (short description)

We’re AbleCare Homes, a group of Residential Care Homes in Bristol and South Gloucestershire, we provide residential care and support services for older people and people with dementia.

We are looking for a caring and reliable individuals to work across our 6 care homes in Bristol and South Gloucestershire to provide residential care for elderly people with dementia. We have an opportunities for people who would like to progress their careers and feel ready to take on senior duties in one or more of our locations. We have opportunities in Hengrove, Clifton Downs, Winterbourne and Frenchay.

We’re seeking to recruit some great new "social care" workers; people with the right values and attitude to work in our Care Home – could this be you? We are looking for some Senior Care Assistants to work days or nights or a mixture of both. You would be given training to take your caring skills forward and progress into the start of your management career path.

There are a range of different shift patterns available to fit in with other commitments you may already have.

About the job

The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. Our residents are individuals, and they all deserve to be treated as such. Duties may include supporting with personal care needs, as well as supporting with meals and helping to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing such as arts and crafts, watching the football, drama, musical evenings, gardening, shopping trips and social occasions.

Qualifications required

None required, we need you to have experience as a Care Assistant or to have other transferable skills.
