We’re Patron House, a Residential Care Home in Westbury On Trym, Bristol and we provide residential care and support services as part of the social care system for older people and people with dementia.
We’re seeking to recruit a new Domestic Assistant to keep our home clean and presentable.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is motivated to work to a high-standard. You will be part of the team providing top levels of care and service to our residents. A clean and welcoming environment is a key factor in the provision quality care.

About the job
The duties include cleaning communal areas and resident’s rooms. Our residents are individuals, and they all deserve to be treated as such and in addition to cleaning you will have the opportunity to talk with them and help brighten up their day as you work. Duties will include vacuuming, polishing, cleaning bathrooms and keeping up high standards of infection control. You may also be asked to help with tasks such as washing up and assisting the care team to ensure the environment is in a good condition according to resident wishes.
