We have an exciting opportunity for two Rehab Support Workers to join our multidisciplinary rehab team at the Floyd Neuro Rehabilitation unit.
The Rehab Support Worker role is vital in supporting neuro rehab provision to patients with Physiotherapy, Speech and Language therapy and Occupational Therapy needs in conjunction with our specialist therapists.
This is an excellent opportunity where you will have access to training, supervision, support and development of assessment and rehabilitation skills. There will be opportunity to support and participate in quality improvement projects relevant to the development of the Neuro Rehab service.
· To assist the delivery of high quality, evidenced based neuro rehab to the caseload of the Floyd unit including:
· Supporting individualised programs set by the therapy team (Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapy and Physio)
· Supporting patients to progress with rehab goals through; supported education, 1:1 sessions, groups (therapeutic and diversional) and community outreach activities supporting discharge planning.
· Promotion of a 24-hour rehab approach on the unit through joint working with the MDT and a supportive rehab environment.
