We like to give all our GPs a variety of work to make their working week more enjoyable. This includes: triage of online forms on call (maximum one session per week) face to face sessions (up to 14 contacts per session) telephone sessions (up to 16 contacts per session) +/- some specialist clinics and clinical lead opportunities. We support our GPs with our broad multidisciplinary team including Nurses, HCAs and Phlebotomists, Pharmacists and technicians, Care Coordinator, Social Prescriber, Mental Health Workers, First contact physiotherapists, Rapid Response Home Visiting team, our excellent in house Data and Coding team, and others. This multidisciplinary team reduces your workload in a number of ways: Far fewer home visits Fewer minor illnesses Support with complex mental health patients Negligible repeat prescription workload Significantly reduced clinical admin work We encourage personal development and there are opportunities to pursue special interests including minor operations, baby clinics, contraception, or becoming a Trainer. We have excellent and robust clinical governance, to provide reassurance, support and growth to your career. We are a strong practice, and are proud of the work we do within our PCN and are embarking on a local garden project to improve the health of our patients. We are also part of the Keeping Well initiative, funding treatments and days out to increase the wellbeing for all of our staff and recognise the efforts we all put in.
