Care Outlook is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Monitoring Officer in East Sussex. Supporting in Newhaven and the surrounding areas.

Responsible for implementing field based quality control systems and providing support to all Care & Support Workers within a defined area.
Core Duties & Responsibilities as Quality Monitoring Officer
• Spot checking carers in the community, identifying good practice, identifying and reporting training concerns back to the registered manager
• Ability to deliver high standards of care
• Participate in the paid on-call rota
• Completing care assessments and writing up Care Plans
• Building relationships with care staff and service users
• Assisting the registered manager in preparing for inspections by the local authority and CQC
• Assisting the care coordinator with any duties that may be required

Examples of the client's needs you will be supporting with as a Quality Monitoring Officer:
• Assisting clients with personal care (Washing, toileting, dressing etc.)
• Performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Observing, monitoring and record keeping.
We are looking for a Quality Monitoring Officer to join us who are:
• 100% committed to helping improve the quality of life of vulnerable people
• Flexibility to cover on-call to meet the needs of the business (essential)
• Knowledge of CQC standards and CQC Compliance (essential)
• Full Driving Licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
• Experience as Field Care Supervisor or 2 years working within Health & Social Care (preferred)
• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred)
