Are you passionate about providing exceptional care and support to children and young people with special educational needs? Dunbar Education is recruiting on behalf of a nurturing SEN setting in Much Hadham, and we are seeking a compassionate SEN Care Specialist to join their team.
- Position: SEN Care Specialist
- Location: Much Hadham
- Start Date: Immediate or flexible for the right candidate
- Salary: Competitive (based on experience and qualifications)
- Provide personalised care and emotional support to children and young people with special educational needs.
- Assist with daily routines, including personal care, meals, and social activities.
- Collaborate with educational staff, therapists, and families to promote the well-being and development of each child.
- Monitor progress and contribute to care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that nurtures independence and life skills.
- Experience in a care, SEN, or support role, ideally working with children or young people.
- A compassionate and patient approach, with a strong commitment to inclusion.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Relevant care qualifications are desirable but not essential.
