We are looking for a Team leader to join our service here at Bourne Bridge House, which is set in six acres of land giving us a beautiful working environment and great surroundings. Bourne Bridge House is a residential service where we support young adults with learning disabilities and or Autism.

• £13.60 per hour (£13.85 per hour at weekends).
• 32 hours per week. You will also have the opportunity (optional) to work an extra 8 hours per week as a Support Worker.

What you’ll be doing:
• The post holder will be required to fulfil their job role and support the management team and also lead a team of support workers to assist with their development.
• Participate in the On-Call Rota, to provide managerial support.
• Assist with implementing, reviewing care plans and supporting with supervisions.
• Understand and share the vision of the manager for the future of the home.
• We support people across a range of activities that can include swimming, cinema, theatre, outdoor pursuits, forest school and day to day tasks such as shopping, a visit to the pub or even accompanying them on holiday.
• Our main aim is to provide a homely environment for people with learning disabilities in which continuous encouragement, education and stimulation are at the core element of supporting the people that live here with us at Bourne Bridge House.
• Encouraging choice and involvement, supporting with personal care, promoting engagement within the home with life skills.
Who you are:
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a Health and social care setting.
• You will have experience in leading a team.
• You will have experience in carrying out audits and supervisions.
• NVQ level 3 in Health and social care desirable.
• You will be positive and highly motivated with the ability to motivate others.
• Drivers Preferred.
