About the Role
In your role as a Senior Care Assistant at MHA, you will have the responsibility of guiding and motivating a dedicated team of care assistants to deliver exceptional care to our residents, ensuring they can enjoy a fulfilling later life. Your duties will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including assisting residents with personal care requirements and facilitating their participation in various activities that promote their overall well-being. Moreover, you will be entrusted with administering medication and maintaining meticulous and precise records. About You
As a Senior Care Assistant, it is essential that you possess a genuine passion for providing care to older individuals. Along with previous experience in the field of care, you must hold at least an NVQ level 2 or its equivalent in health and social care. Furthermore, you should be willing to pursue a level 3 qualification. Your role will also involve leading, coaching, and motivating a team to ensure the delivery of top-notch care.
In addition to the required qualifications, you should possess a kind, warm, and caring nature. Collaborating effectively within a team while also demonstrating initiative is crucial. Patience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to actively listen are equally important attributes. Moreover, you should excel in maintaining accurate records, managing time efficiently, and prioritizing tasks. Cromwell House Care Home
Cromwell House, a purpose-built care home, provides residential and respite care for 38 residents. Located in a tranquil residential area, it is conveniently situated a brief stroll away from the heart of Norwich. As MHA's inaugural purpose-built care home in the city, it commenced operations in 1969.
The proximity to bus stops allows for effortless access to the city centre, enabling residents to conveniently explore shopping venues, cafes, and local attractions, such as the exquisite Norwich Cathedral.
