Support Worker -Poole

Full or Part-Time available

£13.41 per hour (Sleep-in's paid at an allowance of £50 per shift)

We are looking for outgoing, fun loving, big hearted individuals who have the desire to make someone else's day better.

We are looking for people who can help support a young man, who lives in a beautiful bungalow of his own with 24 hour support.

He has a rare form of epilepsy, autism and additional needs. Sadly this can make some days tough for him.

He has a smile that will light up any room and an infectious laugh.

He loves the ocean, water play, bowling, and using his iPad. He also loves to watch films with his staff. He loves trips out in his van to the beach and enjoys a Guinness down the pub.

He can at times display behaviours of distress, usually brought on by seizure activity or a transition he finds difficult. He is able to use a few words to communicate, but mostly uses PEC pictures and he will also take you by the hand to show you what he wants.

We are happy to consider full or part-time Support workers for this role. Support Workers will need to work a mix of early (07.00-14.30) and late shifts (14.30-21.00) We also require all Support Workers to undertake 1 sleep-in shift per week. Long days are also available.

Could you be the individual that brings sunshine to his day?
