Job Title: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (Challenging Behaviours)

Role Overview:
- We are seeking a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who present challenging behaviours.
- In this role, you will be responsible for delivering individualised support, implementing behaviour management strategies, and assisting with both academic tasks and personal care.
- This is a temporary full-time position with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
- Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN and challenging behaviours.
- Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and manage behaviour strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
- Assist students with academic tasks, personal care, and the development of social skills.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
- Level 2 or above qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with individuals with SEN and challenging behaviours.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound understanding of SEN support strategies.
- Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviours in an educational setting.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
- Training in behaviour management techniques.
- Based in a school setting, supporting students with SEN.
- Full-time, temporary position.
- The role involves working with students who may present challenging behaviours.
- All applicants must hold the relevant qualifications and experience for this role.
- Pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
- This is a temporary role with the possibility of becoming permanent.
