We are seeking a caring and compassionate personal assistant to support my mom, a 93-year-old lady living in Dereham. She has limited mobility but is still able to move around her home using a frame. Due to circulation issues, she experiences a loss of sensation in her feet and legs. This role is key to ensuring she maintains her independence, stays nourished, receives emotional support and improves her overall wellbeing.

Job Description:
Assisting with meal preparation and enjoying meals together
Assist with general housekeeping/domestic tasks.
Providing gentle encouragement for daily routines.
Offering companionship and support to mom on accessing her local community
Any other reasonable duties as requested.
Person specification
Essential:
Full UK driving license holder with appropriate business insurance cover.
The ideal candidate would require a calming, reassuring, Caring and Patience
The person I employ, must have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work including total respect for my privacy.
Desirable:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the individual's needs.
Summary terms and conditions
The rate of pay for this position is £15.86 per hour.
Hours and times of work: 06 Hrs Per Week, Time discussed further at interview.
The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
Free Care Skills training is provided to employed staff.
The post is subject to the following:
A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
Satisfactory references from two referees, one of whom must be your current or last employer.
Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months
