Position: Housing Management Officer
Salary: £24,500 per year
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Location: Exeter

Additional Information:
On-call duties (1 in every 4 weeks), £100/week when on-call

The Role:
As a Housing Management Officer, you will play a key role in managing properties, ensuring that vacancies are filled, rent arrears are addressed, and residents receive the support they need. You will collaborate with the Devon & Cornwall Supported Housing Service to promote positive financial management and independence for clients, and ensure the effective management of properties.

Key Responsibilities:
Proactively manage voids, promoting vacancies across Julian House properties
Assess potential residents and ensure proper rent arrears actions are taken, supporting SMART payment plans
Support clients with daily living activities, helping them build the skills needed for long-term independence
Conduct home visits to residents to prevent eviction, and establish financial management plans when necessary
Report repairs and maintenance issues and help maintain high-quality living conditions for clients

Qualifications / Requirements:
Valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle (business insurance required)
Experience working with clients with complex needs, putting them at the centre of your work
Ability to work within organizational policies, including Equal Opportunities policies
Experience working in a social or health care setting
