Registered Care Manager

Location: Altrincham, WA14 5BJ. The role may require occasional travel to service users or other company locations.
Contract: Full-time, Permanent.
Salary: £34,500 - £39,950 per annum.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a CQC Registered Manager at Blush Healthcare Ltd in Manchester, with flexibility for some remote work. The Registered Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the healthcare facility, ensuring compliance with CQC standards, managing staff, and implementing quality improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate for this position will succeed in this role if they have both knowledge and technical depth about the company and the industry. This is essential as they will be a central person in the decision-making process, working with multiple individuals across different teams when necessary. As a result, they will also be overseeing specific personnel.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for the safe, effective, caring, and responsive, taking full ownership and accountability for all aspects of the service provision.
To be confirmed as the Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Efficiently manage the day-to-day functionality of the business relating to care.
Ensure all support plans are person-centered, and regularly reviewed and updated.
Maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding and wellness for our service users, ensuring compliance in all areas of regulated activity, including meeting the CQC fundamental standards for quality and safety.
Develop, review, and update all policy, procedure, risk assessment, and operating procedures required to ensure the safe and effective delivery of the service, recommending changes and improvements for the service and the wider group.
Undertake training and development to keep up to date with the law, best practices, and changes in company policy, CQC regulations, and government legislation.
Ensure that services are suitably resourced with appropriately trained staff, with all rotas published six weeks ahead on Deputy.
Achieve KPIs, ensuring that performance is monitored and issues addressed.
Ensure the service is sustainable and compliant with regulatory standards.
To ensure that the home environment is properly and regularly maintained, is safe, and meets the needs of the Service Users.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
Experience as a Registered Manager.
CQC Compliance, Healthcare Management, and Regulatory Knowledge.
Quality Improvement and Risk Management expertise.
Hold a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
Exceptional Staff Management and Leadership Skills.
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
Knowledge of Healthcare Policies and Procedures.
Problem-solving and Decision-making abilities.

Holidays:

The Registered Care Manager is entitled to the statutory paid holiday allocation per annum. Additional unpaid leave is strictly at the director’s discretion.
