Job Purpose:
I am a friendly lady with Epilepsy and mobility difficulties who is seeking a female Personal Assistant to support me with everyday living tasks such as shopping, meal preparation and supervision when bathing.

Due to my epilepsy, I cannot be left unattended when I’m in the bath. As such, I require someone who can be vigilant and supervise me whilst I’m bathing. Due to mobility difficulties, I require the use of walking aids and am seeking someone who can assist me to do a weekly supermarket shop.

I am seeking someone who can work 5 hours per week, every Friday afternoon.

Female Personal Assistant required due to personal care element.

Summary terms and conditions:
  • The rate of pay for this position, for employed workers is £11.68 per hour
  • You will be reimbursed for any agreed expense as part of this role
  • Access to free Care Skills training for employed workers
  • Hours and days of work: 5 hours every Friday afternoon from 1pm - 6pm.
  • If the role includes any of the following: manual Handling, handling of hazardous chemicals or food handling, you will be required to undertake annual training

The post is subject to the following:
  • A satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
  • Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer
  • Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months
