Kitchen Assistant. Priesty Fields Care Home

£11.49 per hour
36 hours per week
Shifts: 7:30am-5:30pm or 10am-7pm

Your Role as Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our catering team and help provide nutritious, home-cooked meals to our residents. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring that mealtimes are enjoyable and that our kitchen runs smoothly and hygienically. Working alongside our Chef/Cook, your tasks will include:

Supporting in meal preparation and kitchen duties
Helping to create fresh, delicious meals from scratch
Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant working environment

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However, overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in catering or as a kitchen assistant (1 year desirable but not essential)
Food Hygiene Certificate is ideal, but full training will be provided
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
