Your new opportunity

Quarriers Renfrewshire SLI services are currently recruiting 4x part time Support Workers (Female Only) to join the team supporting a young lady in her own home which is located in Renfrew.

As a Support Worker (Female Only) you will be supporting this person in their daily life, assisting with person care, shopping, appointments, activities and helping around their home. The person supported is non verbal with autism and uses other methods to communicate, therefore is it essential you are able to build rapport and deliver person centred care to meet their needs.

If you are looking to join a team who are driven by supporting people to live fuller happy lives then this is a great opportunity for you. In return Quarriers will offer training & development including SVQ qualifications via Quarriers Academy.

Working pattern: We are recruiting for part time staff, offering between 20-25 hours per week. The person is supported during these times, working shifts will be 3pm - 10pm (Monday - Thursday), 2pm - 10pm (Friday) & 9am - 10pm (Saturday & Sunday).

What you will need to bring to the role

  • Previous experience working in social care or similar role is desirable.
  • Ability to build long lasting trusting relationships.
  • Reliable and flexible to work a the shifts on a planned rolling rota.
  • Driver is desirable.
