An exciting opportunity has arisen at Manchester University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) for a part time Colorectal CNS . The post holder will be expected to provide knowledge and support to patients diagnosed with Colorectal cancer as well as their families in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team and in line with local and national targets.
Working alongside the existing Macmillan Clinical Nurse Specialist team the post holder will act as a patient advocate and manage a clinical caseload. Excellent communication skills will ensure the post holder will be able to liaise with all members of the multidisciplinary team members and deal with patients with complex issues.
Our aim is to provide an excellent standard of care using specialist knowledge from the time of diagnosis and throughout the treatment pathway .The successful applicant will be provided with an induction programme and supported throughout.
