Join us as a Senior Residential Support Worker supporting our client in their crucial role ensuring the care and welfare of children in residential care.

This position is based in Macclesfield with an hourly salary of between £14.30 and £17.16 per hour for applicants with the required previous work experience, depending on shift pattern.

We have flexible work available from long-term bookings to single shifts.

Key duties include:


    • Taking a lead role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of each child
    • Planning, managing and leading shifts to keep children engaged and secure in line with each individual placement plan
    • Provide support and guidance to all residential workers
    • Ensure professional conduct and adherence to relevant policies and procedures
    • Conduct effective supervisions, offering advice and motivation

    What do you need to join?

    To be successful in this role, you will need:


      • At least 6 months full-time experience in the last 3 years working alongside children and young people in a senior/leadership role
      • The right to work in the UK and be able to work up to full time hours
      • A level 3 qualification in social care or similar is essential
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      • Strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support
      • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
      • Hold a full, clean, drivers licence as you may be required to transport children outside of the residential setting
