You will need to be passionate about children’s nursing, enjoy working as a team as well as being autonomous, and have at least 2 years’ experience at band 5, including at least 1 year in a community setting.

The postholder will work within the Children’s Community Nursing Team, visiting children in the community with a wide range of conditions, with the aim of reducing hospital admissions and attendances. The role will include nursing care, training, and supporting families, as well as deputising for Team leads, and supporting and mentoring student nurses.
The team provides a service to children and young people aged 0 – 18 years, and works across the 3 London Boroughs of Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham, and Westminster. The team works closely with colleagues in Primary Care, hospitals, social services and education.
