Working Hours Part Time or Full time hours considered 22.5 -45 hrs per week

About us

We currently looking to engage a Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly team at
Redmount Residential Home. The home is situated in the picturesque village of Buckfastleigh in the heart of the Southwest Devon Countryside and registered as a 34-bed residential Home.

Our aim at Redmount Residential Home is to provide the highest standard of care in a relaxed, friendly environment. We specialise in caring for people with dementia with a friendly and empathetic approach. We ensure that residents can still enjoy the freedom and lifestyle of their choice, whilst receiving care that is appropriate to their needs built on dignity and respect and you will play a key part in this:

What you will be doing: -

• To assist with care and support of the service users with their personal care and social activities.
• To encourage and help promote the quality of life according to needs as identified in a resident’s personal care plan.
• supervising a team of care workers including doing supervisions
• Working with lots of different people including adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health conditions and older people.

Essential Qualifications

QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2 and 3 (or equivalent)

Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check.
