Avensis Support Limited serves the social care sector as a provider of supported accommodation for looked after children. The role is newly developed to assist the Service Lead in the management and smooth running of the company’s administrative matters and the
role of the Service Lead. We are looking for someone with a proactive approach and a can-do attitude.
That this is a new position and therefore job role may be adapted to the growth and changing needs of the organisation.
 HR:
To ensure the Company’s safer recruitment process are duly followed.
Support Supervision and appraisal with Team Leaders, by taking notes, maintain notes and records.
Support Team leaders in the recruitment process and in taking interviews.
Improving on Interview techniques according to roles
Preparing our Young People to be on recruitment panel
To support the Manager with shifts and Rotas
Support Directors/ Team Leaders in internal complaints and investigations.
You will be responsible for managing and supporting the team growth with future recruitment. Monitoring recruitment along with the HR Coordinator, ensuring compliance and best practices.
Handling any first-line matters related to operations, HR, personnel and health & safety across all Avensis provisions.
Assisting the Service Lead in managing company roster, payroll and invoicing. Including getting employees signed onto health cash plans and employee assisted programme.
First point of contact for internal complains and coordinating with outsourced HR company.
 Administration:
• To provide a total office administration and support service to the service Lead/Directors, including the providers forum work.
Support the development and maintenance of filing and recording systems, including statistics and monitoring as appropriate.
To ensure that all enquiries, telephone, email or face to face, are acknowledged and responded to in a consistent and timely manner, in line with relevant procedures.
At times to arrange and support events that support the organisation and its young people
To book meetings and arrange appointments for Directors.
• To provide general and complete administrative support. including data entry, dealing with telephone, email and face to face enquiries, diary management, filing, archiving, scanning, sorting and distributing of post and other such duties.
• Produce a range of documents including letters, reports and other documents as requested using a range of IT and Microsoft packages e.g., Word and Excel.
• Support Children Social Care partners with administrative tasks to ensure the swift execution of the Social Care function.
• Support with premises management as required.
• Arrange and support meetings including minute taking, maintaining confidentiality at all times throughout your work.
This will include Best Interests and Safeguarding Children meetings as required.
• Provide support to other areas as required, providing cover for other roles e.g., such as HR, DBS coordinator, Training coordinator, H &S coordinator, First Aid officer and to maintain a line of communication for updates and compliance

The ideal candidate will have...
Preference of experience of working in a busy office environment
Preference Experience of supporting projects and business improvement activities
Excellent typing and general IT Skills, with experience of using Microsoft packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
Maintains a professional and approachable manner.
Ready to take up training where required.
Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities and manage own workload as well as workload of others.
Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
To have a positive attitude to problem solving and innovation and have a flexible and adaptable approach to challenges.
Flexible approach to working and providing administrative support as required.
Committed to continual self-development and a willingness to participate in training.
 Education & Qualifications
• Educated to GCSE level in Mathematics and English to Grade C or above
• Diploma or NVQ 5 in Business Administration/HR or appropriate equivalent qualification / experience
Driving License is mandatory part of the job role.

needs of the business as it grows.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion.
• Proficient interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
• Proficient analytical and administrative skills.
